Overview

Playmaker is the onboarding intake form for each client engagement. Capture shared client materials, kickoff details, TAM and ICP, value proposition, personas, and customer stories here. Answers auto-save and become source material for the downstream Playbook. AI drafting uses direct client context and verified research only, marks recommendations, and leaves unsupported required details as Client input needed. Client viewers use Playmaker as a focused document, while staff retain the shared platform navigation.

How to use this page

  1. Open Playmaker for a client

In Platform, go to Onboarding > Playmaker. Pick the client in the header switcher first, or open a direct link: /platform/onboarding/playmaker/{dealId}. Client viewers see a focused document view without the broader application navigation rail. Staff retain the shared platform navigation so they can move between their workspace and the onboarding document.

  2. Add shared client materials

On the Overview tab, use Client Materials to upload TXT, PDF, or CSV files or add external links. Add an optional note so the team knows how to use the material. The shared library also appears at Onboarding > Documents, and the Responder switch marks material the AI email responder may consult.

  3. Work through the tabs

Use All Fields for the full scrollable form, or jump to Overview, TAM & ICP, Values, Personas, or History. In Overview, add Call Recordings, a DO NOT CONTACT List, Content, and Email Copy / Call Scripts when available. Fields auto-save as you edit.

  4. Draft strategy sections with AI

Use the drafting panel to add the website URL and optional direct company context, then select Fill out every strategy section. Playmaker researches once and drafts all six strategy sections. It uses only direct client context and verified research for factual claims. Unsupported required details are written as Client input needed, while strategy suggestions are explicitly labeled Recommended or Hypothesis to validate. Review and edit every draft before relying on it.

  5. Get help with one section

Choose Help me fill just this section from a supported strategy section when you need a focused draft. Personas and Customer Stories also offer this option. The same evidence-only grounding applies to focused drafts.

  6. Share or review

Internal users can select Copy Share Link in the tab bar. Incoming SDRs opening Playmaker from Takeover Preparation may have a view-only intake until reassignment takes effect.

Common questions

It can draft all six strategy sections from a website and optional direct context. Your team still provides private details such as kickoff contacts, email domains, and other setup information that research cannot verify.
Use the Client Materials library at the top of Overview. It accepts TXT, PDF, and CSV files and external links, and it is the same shared library available from Onboarding > Documents.
Every factual claim must come from direct client context or identified verified research. Prior generated drafts provide wording context only, not evidence. When evidence is missing, required fields say Client input needed and recommendations are labeled.
Yes. Select Help me fill just this section in either section, or in another supported strategy section, to request a focused evidence-grounded draft.
A whole-strategy draft performs one evidence-focused research pass, then reuses that research context across the generated sections.
Playmaker captures onboarding intake and structured source material. Playbook is the editable strategy document built from the completed Playmaker.
Fields auto-save as you edit. The footer shows Saving, Changes saved, or Save failed, and Ctrl+S forces a full save.
Client viewers use a focused Playmaker document without the wider application navigation rail. Staff retain shared platform navigation so they can move between the onboarding document and the rest of their workspace.
