Overview

Documents is the selected client's shared materials library. Upload TXT, PDF, or CSV files, or add external links, so onboarding, future campaign work, and the AI email responder can use the right reference material. The same library appears in Playmaker's Client Materials section.

How to use this page

  1. Select the client

Pick the client in the top-right switcher. The stat band shows stored documents, files with text ready, and total extracted text. The subtitle also notes how many documents are marked for the AI responder.

  2. Add a file

In Add New Document, optionally add a Note explaining what the file is for. Drag a file onto the dropzone or select Choose File to upload a TXT, PDF, or CSV up to 25MB. The system extracts text in the background and confirms the result with a toast.

  3. Add a link

Select Add link to open the link form. Enter a Name, the complete http(s) URL, and an optional Note, then select Add link. Links are saved as openable references and do not have extracted text.

  4. Check saved material

The Uploaded Documents table shows the file size, extraction status, AI responder setting, and uploader. Files can show processing, extracted text, or an extraction problem. Link rows show External link instead of extracted text.

  5. Mark a document for the AI responder

Use the Responder switch on a row to mark that file or link as reference material for the AI email responder. The setting saves immediately. Files contribute extracted text, while links contribute their name, URL, and notes. Campaign settings can further narrow which marked documents a campaign uses.

  6. Manage documents

Use Refresh to recheck the list and extraction status. Select Edit to rename a document, update its notes, or update a link's URL. Delete removes material you no longer need after confirmation. The same library is embedded in Playmaker under Overview > Client Materials.

Common questions

TXT, PDF, and CSV files up to 25MB each. For a resource that lives elsewhere, add a link instead.
A file is uploaded and can have its text extracted for later use. A link is a saved external reference the team can open, so it does not have extracted text.
Saved text makes a file's content available to onboarding and AI workflows later. The Text Saved total is the extracted character count across files.
It marks a file or link as reference material the AI email responder can consult for this client. Campaign settings can narrow that base set for a specific campaign.
Yes. Playmaker's Overview tab embeds the same Client Materials library, so uploads, links, and document settings stay in one shared place.
